How it works
Changes an image's dimensions in pixels or by percentage, and lets you crop a specific area. It is used to prepare avatars, thumbnails, banners or any image that needs to fit a particular size.
When resizing, you can keep the proportion so the image doesn't get distorted, or set an exact width and height. Crop mode lets you select the portion you want to keep and discard the rest.
The processing is entirely local, in your browser: the image is not uploaded to any server. You choose the output format and, for those that support it, the quality of the result.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between resizing and cropping?
Resizing changes the size of the whole image by scaling it. Cropping keeps only a region and removes what is outside, changing the framing instead of scaling the entire content.
How do I keep the image from getting distorted?
Enable the keep proportion option: when you change the width, the height adjusts automatically (and vice versa) to preserve the original aspect ratio.
Can I enlarge an image without losing quality?
Enlarging beyond its original size always involves inventing pixels, so the image tends to look blurry or pixelated. Resizing gives better results when reducing than when enlarging.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing and cropping happen entirely in your browser; the image never leaves your device.
