How it works

Generate QR codes from different types of content: a link, free text, an email, a phone, an SMS, a contact card (vCard), a WhatsApp chat or the details of a Wi-Fi network. Pick the type, fill in the fields and get the QR ready to download or print.

You can customize the design: color and style of the modules, square or circular shape, gradients, a central logo, decorative borders and the error correction level. The preview updates when you generate so you can fine-tune the result before exporting it.

The whole QR is created in your browser: the content is never uploaded to a server. You can download it as SVG, PNG, JPEG or WebP, or copy it as an image to the clipboard.

Use cases

  • Share access to a Wi-Fi network without dictating the password.
  • Put a link to a site, menu or form on a poster, flyer or card.
  • Add a vCard to a personal card so people save your contact with one scan.
  • Generate a QR with logo and brand colors for printed material or packaging.

Frequently asked questions

What is the error correction level for?

It determines how much of the QR can be damaged or covered and still be readable: L recovers ~7%, M ~15%, Q ~25% and H ~30%. The higher the level, the more redundancy and modules, but also more tolerance. If you add a logo, level H is advisable.

Can I put a logo in the center without it becoming unscannable?

Yes. When you upload a logo, the tool raises the correction level to H and can hide the modules behind it. Keep the logo below about 40% of the width and test the scan before printing.

Which download format is best?

For printing and posters use SVG: it is vector and doesn't lose sharpness when enlarged. For web or messaging, PNG keeps good quality; JPEG and WebP are useful when you need a lighter file.

Does the QR expire or need a connection?

No. The QR is static: the content is encoded in the image itself, doesn't depend on any server and doesn't expire. To change what it points to, you have to generate a new one.
